Your support and engagement have been the driving force behind the AI Pulse for Black Innovators newsletter, a project born from a deep commitment to education and creating a vibrant, inclusive space in the field of artificial intelligence.
Today, I am writing with both a heartfelt thank you and some important news regarding the future of our newsletter. The past year has been incredibly rewarding, and your enthusiasm for our weekly editions has been nothing short of inspiring. It's been an honor to serve our community, fostering a platform where black voices and perspectives in AI are not only heard but celebrated.
In a thrilling turn of events, my work in AI has opened new doors and presented exciting opportunities that I am eager to pursue. These developments, while wonderful, also mean that there will be adjustments to our newsletter's schedule. Starting this year, the AI Pulse for Black Innovators newsletter will transition from a weekly publication to a monthly one. This change will allow me to dedicate the necessary time and resources to both my new professional commitments and the continued high-quality curation of our newsletter.
Additionally, to ensure that we remain connected and updated on crucial topics, I will occasionally send out direct-topic newsletters throughout the month. These will focus on specific tutorials, and/ or timely issues and developments in AI that are particularly relevant to our community.
I want to assure you that this decision was made with the utmost care and consideration. Our newsletter is more than just a compilation of articles; it's a labor of love and a testament to our collective effort to carve out a safe, empowering space in AI for black people. While the frequency of our interactions may change, the spirit and purpose of our newsletter remain steadfast.
